Welcome to the official website for The Ohio Society of Washington, DC!
The Ohio Society is a non-profit organization that aims to connect Ohioans and those closely associated with Ohio, either personally or professionally, who are currently living in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our state’s society is a member of the National Conference of State Societies and serves as a networking, service, and social organization for individuals of all ages.
This year we are excited to introduce four new events for our organization: a spring event to occur during the National Cherry Blossom Festival, a summer social event, a formal fall Columbus Day dinner, and a winter service project. The Ohio Society is also proud to support the annual Ohio Birthday Party and Congressional Christmas Party. In addition to these annual events, our state society is looking forward to planning a number of regular, low-budget events such as happy hours and other charitable, sporting, and family-oriented events.
