The Ohio Society of Washington, DC is proud to have Selly Horn represent the Buckeye State in the 2008 Cherry Blossom Festival! Shelly is a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University, where she was awarded Most Outstanding Senior and majored in Communications and
Political Science. She has recently joined the Democratic National Committee as the Deputy Finance Director for Women's Leadership Forum and GLLC. While in college, Shelly chaired and directed events for Darfur, community service, Hurricane Katrina, HIV/AIDS, Columbus Children's Hospital and student government. Shelly also worked at the Ohio Democratic Party, local TV stations, MTV and Camp Heartland before moving to DC. Shelly is thrilled to represent the great Buckeye state in the National Cherry Blossom Festival!
