The Ohio Society is a non-profit organization that aims to connect Ohioans and those closely associated with Ohio, either personally or professionally, who are currently living in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our state's society is a member of the National Conference of State Societies and serves as a networking, service and social organization for individuals of all ages.
The Ohio Society is also proud to support the annual Ohio Birthday Party, Ohio Summer Social, and Congressional Christmas Party. In addition to these annual events, our state society plans a number of regular, low-budget events such as happy hours and various charitable, sporting and family-oriented events.
The Ohio Society also plays a key role in the National Cherry Blossom Festival by selecting Ohio's Cherry Blossom Princess.
